Marbaloo Marketing Acquires Los Angeles based agency The Avenue West

The acquisition further diversifies the marketing firm’s client portfolio on the heels of its successful service expansion through the launch of Remedy Creative

Los Angeles, January 1, 2016 — Marbaloo Marketing announced today that it has acquired The Avenue West, a progressive, full-service marketing, public relations and brand development agency based in Los Angeles. The addition of The Avenue West continues a series of strategic Marbaloo Marketing investments to expand its service offerings and diversify its client portfolio. This acquisition comes on the heels of Marbaloo Marketing’s successful launch of its Creative agency, Remedy Creative. In addition to Remedy’s design and photography resources, clients of The Avenue West will have an expanded team of best-in-class Digital Marketing, Stunting, Publicity, Social Media and Entertainment Strategists.

Nina Ojeda, founder of The Avenue West, owned and operated the multi-million dollar go-to-market firm for more than three years before founding her newest tech venture PRÊTE, a members only club providing access to the best blowouts nationwide. She and Marbaloo Marketing’s owner, Faithe Dillman, have been dear friends since they met in Utah on Summit’s Powder Mountain at an entrepreneurs event put on by YEC (Young Entrepreneurs Council). As PRÊTE began to grow over 300% month over month its growth trajectory prompted Nina to seek out an expanded operational solution for her agency that would multiply deliverables, opportunities and breadth of services to her beloved clients. She decided Faithe and the team at Marbaloo and Remedy Creative were the perfect home for her staff and clients.

“Running The Avenue West has been such a rewarding experience filled with incredible clients, friendships and success. After meeting Faithe, it was clear that we would be fast friends, but her mentorship over the years and the incredible work she and her team have collaborated with us on, was the catalyst for the sale. It was the obvious next step for me to grow our agency with the help of such a talented leader and phenomenal team. I’m excited that as I embark on my next chapter with PRÊTE, I’ll be able to continue on as an advisor and oversee work on our clients. PRÊTE’s explosive growth has everything to do with our insanely talented team and will only grow from here as The Avenue West will remain PRÊTE’s Agency of Record.”

The sale between these two 3rd generation female entrepreneurs is evolutionary evidence of the current progressive entrepreneurial climate. “The greatest honor in my professional life is working alongside entrepreneurial minded talent. I’m humbled that The Avenue West, Remedy Creative & Marbaloo staff would choose to dedicate their energy, time & talents to Marbaloo Marketing and its growing list of clients. Alan Dillman, my father and fellow business owner, taught me how to survive & thrive as an entrepreneur in any political & economical climate and how to grab the American Dream with hard work, hope and the help of the most amazing people you can find. Nina shares all these sentiments and I consider it a privilege to both be her friend and to carry on her legacy of quality, excellence and innovation.”

The Avenue West will operate under its original name and continue to focus primarily on tech, brand and product clientele. Ojeda is staying on indefinitely as an executive strategist. Marbaloo will continue to service its celebrity roster of musicians, athletes and actors.  The Avenue West, Marbaloo and Remedy Creative team members are now located at both the West Hollywood office in Los Angeles as well as the 13th floor of Life & Casualty Tower in downtown Nashville. The acquisition was spearheaded by Vice President of Marbaloo Marketing, Julie Behr, and Director of Media, Blakelee Land.
